The Mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:

Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?

Many people have created lists in the past - frequently
simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to
beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic.
1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than
a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete
the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some
tasks such overseas trips or outdoor activities.

Goals & Plans for 2012

Sunday, January 1, 2012

Exercise at least 2 days a week.

Eat healthy lunches.

Cut back on caffeine and try to start the day without coffee. (The employees at the gas station shouldn't know my coffee / danish / method of payment preferences.)

Stay on top of my planning and grading without being at school before 7 and after 5 every day.

Meal plan every weekend, grocery shop for the week, and make dinner at least 3 weekday nights.

Play with Trogdor or take him for a walk 15 minutes every day.

Laundry, dishes, and tidy the house every weekend.

Plan 2 trips: one for summer and one for fall break (October).

Finish my MA by July.

Spend more quality time with Nathan each week.

Go camping this summer.
